Made A Little More Progress This Weekend

This being my first attempt at wiring is making my progress ridiculously slow at best.  I finished elongating the wires from the ignition module and added the protective outer sheathing, then added on the other handle bar grip, headlight control module, clutch lever and cable, and then the bar end mirrors.IMG_20140720_160758

My dad was given a carburetor sync tool, but it wasn’t something I was familiar with and he was out of town, so I held off on that until next time.

I was just curious to what year and model Yamaha this is. I am contemplating on modding (cafe) my 83 Virago XV750. Any pointers?

      Hey Kal,

This is a 1978 Yamaha XS750. I haven’t attempted a Virago cafe yet, but the ones I’ve seen look really cool. I highly recommend you do some searches on Google or DuckDuckGo for images of Virago Cafe Racers. You’ll see quite a few examples. I’d also recommend an ignition kit from our sponsor C5 Performance which should give your bike a significant performance boost. Good luck!
